Marvin Goldstein came to the Visitors Center for a fireside. Sam Payne came with him, I didn't know who that was but he is from Lindon, UT so I immediately liked him more than all the people in Maryland. :) Anyway, Marvin Goldstein is so amazing! Watching him makes you feel like you don't play the piano very well. I enjoyed watching his fingers move, they fly over all the keys, he makes it look so easy though.

The piano that was there was a Steinway. The man who was sitting behind us donated the money to build the Visitor Center and he bought the piano. He said it was $37,000!!!

I got to meet him after the fireside! He is much shorter than I thought he would be! I asked him to hold his hand up to mine, and his fingers are maybe 1/2" longer than mine. I thought he would have huge long fingers. But when he spread his hand out his span is at least two inches longer than mine. He can reach an octave and two. It was fun. He only played two or three songs, I wish he would have just played the whole night. My favorite was his
medley of his favorite from the Children's Songbook.

I only could get a little amount on my camera of one of his songs I hope it works because its amazing!
